The legacy of pinstripes and pens. A working life need not necessarily be dull.

This work reminds me of a meal. Lots of layers with a light salting of lines like the condiments.

It's All Been Done Before

With every work I try to do something different but the more you know about art, the more you realise it's all been done before.

I thought it was an interesting challenge to depict the suns heat using mostly dark, deep colours. Blue can be just as hot as red.

This work reminds me of dancehalls as they used to be in the 60's and 70's. The use of glitter glaze on the textured surface is not all that easy to see in the photograph but gives the piece an added dimension, catching the light from different viewpoints.

I saw Led Zepplin perform in the 70's and the song came to mind as the work developed; enough said.

This work owes a lot to Miro and the Delaney's. It's rare that I don't have a title but perhaps the work can speak for itself.

This work has a 1960's retro feel and there is a slight anomaly in the title because of the flatness of the colour and the hard edged nature of the lines.

This little piece is on box canvas and needs no frame. It goes some way to answering the questions we have been asking since crop circles first appeared.

This piece wraps around a box canvas, the starkness appeals to me and the use of dark and light colours which accentuates the contrasts in textures.

We all have our crosses to bear and this is one thing we all share. Painted on a heavily textured box canvas which needs no frame.

We all fly too near to the sun on occasions and run the risk of getting our wings burnt. The road paved with good intensions can be easier to avoid with experience. Unframed original on stretched canvas.
